Lewis Men's Tennis Finishes Final Day Of Hotels At Grand Prairie Invitational

Day three features fourth and fifth rounds of singles flights

PEORIA, Ill. -
The Lewis men's tennis team completed their second tournament of the season on Sunday (Sept. 18) afternoon finishing the singles flights at the Hotels and Grand Prairie Invitational, hosted by Bradley University, at the Clubs at River City Tennis North.

In flight #1, senior Uno Lapimaa (Tallinn, Estonia, Audentese) defeated Bradley's Gabriel Townes, 2-6, 6-4, 10-2 in round five. Senior Michael Wojnarowski (Oak Lawn, Ill., Richards, Moraine Valley C.C.) earned a 4-6, 6-4, 14-12 win over DePauw's Sam Miles in the fourth round of flight #2.

Freshman John Richert (Indianapolis, Ind., Pike) won his only singles match of the day by default over DePauw's Michael Rardon.

The Flyers return to action on Friday (Sept. 23) at the ITA Midwest Regional in Allendale, Mich.
