Rocco Mavigliano holds the season rushing record for the Flyer football teams with a 7.17 rushing average per carry during the 8-0 1949 season. He co-captained the 1950 team and was a three-time football letterman for the Flyers. A member of the 1951 Corn Bowl champions, Mavigliano is the third all-time scorer in Lewis history. But he was best known for his backfield blocking.
He currently resides in Des Plaines, IL.
