ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - Lewis' women's soccer team surrendered a pair of goals in the first nine minutes and wasn't able to come back, as the Flyers lost to Northwood 3-0.

Ashleigh Lynn opened with a goal at 3:04 to stake the early lead. Amy Snyder then slipped a shot past Lewis goalkeeper Courtney Hutt (Belvidere, Ill./Boylan) to give Northwood (2-2-0) a 2-0 lead.

Toure Galligan closed the scoring with a goal at 76:47 to clinch the game.

Northwood outshot Lewis 20-9. Caroline Bonynge recorded the shutout for the Timberwolves. She stopped two shots in the game.

Hutt had four saves and Lindsay Frederick (Rockford, Ill./Boylan) posted three saves in a half of work each for Lewis.
