FINDLAY, Ohio - Findlay scored two first half goals to beat the Lewis women's soccer team 2-0.

Lindsay Frederick (Rockford, Ill./Boylan) started in goal for the Flyers (2-5) and recorded five saves in the first 36 minutes before leaving with an injury. Courtney Hutt (Belvidere, Ill./Boylan) relieved her and posted six saves, whle holding Findlay scoreless for the final 54 minutes of the game.

The Flyers finished 0-2 at the Findlay Tournament, but senior Stacy Beaman earned a spot on the all-tournament team as a result of her hustling play over the weekend.

Lewis opens its conference season next weekend when it travels to Missouri-St. Louis and Southern Indiana for a pair of Great Lakes Valley Conference matches.
