ROMEOVILLE - The Lewis University men's soccer team delivered another dramatic victory Sunday afternoon as Mike Dahm (Belleville, Ill./Belleville East) scored in overtime to give the Flyers a 1-0 triumph over Rockhurst.

Dahm's goal, his second of the season, was scored 3:45 into the extra period. Justin Sanabria (Skokie, Ill./Niles North) and Matt Field (Burr Ridge, Ill./Hinsdale South) assisted on the play.

Rockhurst (0-3-2) gained a 19-14 edge in total shots and a 6-2 advantage in corner kicks, but the Hawks managed just three shots on goal. Lewis goalkeeper Jordan Gustman (Roscoe, Ill./Hononegah) notched his second shutout of the year, and Rockhurst goalkeeper Adrian Winnubst made six saves.

The Flyers (6-0-0), tied for fifth in the most recent NCAA Division II national poll and ranked No. 1 in the Great Lakes Region, begin Great Lakes Valley Conference play Friday at Bellarmine. Lewis is the defending GLVC champion.
