Oct. 13, 2006

Box Score

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Bethanee Taylor took over the team lead in scoring by notching her fourth goal of the season and second in as many games, in 3-1 loss to Rockhurst Friday night.

Taylor's goal came at 72:37 with an assist from Allison Wilkerson. Down 3-0 before the score, Taylor's goal was too little too late for the Flyers, but it busted the shutout bid from Rockhurst goalkeeper Alyssa Miller.

Miller finished the night with one save and the one goal allowed. Flyers' keeper Lindsay Frederick made five saves.

Jenna Volpi and Jessica McNamara also registered shots for the Flyers.

Lindsay Ewert scored twice on the night, netting Rockhurst's first and third goal of the game.

Lewis concludes its 2006 conference slate with a game at Drury on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
