ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - For the second time in a less than a week Stephan Bolt set a career high in scoring, registering a double-double of 28 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Lewis Flyers to a 72-53 win over Northwood, Saturday afternoon in a non-conference tilt at Neil Carey Arena.

Bolt shot 10-of-17 from the floor and made 8-of-9 at the line. His 28 points led all scorers and his 15 boards also were a game high.

Brandon Dagans scored 12 points and dished out a game-high six assists, while Dustin Warfield tallied 12 points on 5-of-5 shooting with one 3-pointer and a free throw. Jason Genova added six points and Matthew Marino scored five.

Both teams opened ice cold from the floor as the Flyers missed their first five shots and Northwood went 0-for-4. A Northwood layup at 17:35 provided the game's first points and the Timberwolves' only lead of the night.

Lewis finally got on the board at the 15:58 mark thanks to a Dagans' 3-pointer and then proceeded to score eight more unanswered points over the next two minutes to take an 11-2 lead.

The Flyers cruised to an 18-point cushion by halftime, and remained ahead of Northwood by double digits the entire second half, leading by as many as 22 in the game's final minute.

Lewis shot 46.2 percent for the game, including 35.7 percent from 3-point territory. Northwood recovered from a 26.7 percent shooting effort in the first half to finish 37.9 percent for the game. The Flyers made 19-of-25 at the line, while limiting Northwood to 3-of-7 from the stripe.

The Flyers return to action on Thursday when they host conference foe Drury at 7:30 pm.
