Sophomore Amy Foran registered Lewis' second hat trick in as many weeks in Lewis' 3-2 overtime victory at conference foe Kentucky Wesleyan on Friday afternoon.
Facing a 2-0 deficit in the second half, Foran led the comeback with three straight goals.
Foran scored her first goal at 47:41 with an assist by senior Allison Wilkerson.
Less than ten minutes later Foran knotted the game at 2-2 with a penalty kick at 56:35.
Foran's game winner came at 96:12 with an assist by sophomore Erin Beddows.
It was Foran's first hat trick of her career and second multi-goal game of the season. She scored two goals against Upper Iowa on Aug. 29.
Foran's hat trick comes a week after junior Courtney Kettel scored three goals against Saint Joseph's last Friday.
Foran is second on the team in goals with seven. Kettel leads with nine.
After the two teams each registered six shots in the first half, Lewis out-shot Kentucky Wesleyan 8-3 in the second and 2-0 in overtime.
Lewis held the edge in corner kicks (3-0). Each team committed 11 fouls.
Freshman Andrea Iossi recorded five saves for the Flyers.
Kentucky Wesleyan's Kristen Chinn scored their first goal at 37:33, assisted by Jill Asberry.
Chin assisted on Kentucky Wesleyan's second tally, a Nora Karvonen goal at 41:33.
The Flyers improved to 5-8-0 (3-6-0) while Kentucky Wesleyan fell to 3-12-0 (0-8-0).
Lewis plays at Southern Indiana on Sunday.
