ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - - The Lewis Flyers won their second game of the season in a 3-0 win over the Northwood Timberwolves on Saturday afternoon at the Lewis Soccer Field.

All three Flyers goals came in the first period. Junior Courtney Kettel scored her third goal of the season just 12:21 into the match. The goal was unassisted.

Freshman Jessica Summers-Hernandez gave the Flyers some breathing room with her first collegiate goal at 23:40. Sophomores Amy Foran and Jessica McNamara assisted on the tally.

Lewis scored the final goal of the match just over eight minutes later at 31:53 when junior transfer Anna-Sara Sedin recorded her first goal as a Flyer. Foran also assisted on the goal.

The Flyers improved to 2-0 and the Timberwolves fell to 0-2.

Lewis plays again on Monday at Northern Michigan at 1 p.m. The Flyers next home match is September 14 against Missouri-St. Louis at noon.
