ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - Lewis put three players in double figures in scoring and limited Indianapolis to just 16 first-half points to earn a decisive 66-53 win Saturday afternoon in a key Great Lakes Valley Conference East Division game.

The Flyers (10-2, 3-1) won for a fourth straight game and moved into a three-way tie for first place in the division. Indianapolis fell to 9-3 (3-1).

The Flyers took a 4-0 lead to start the game, but Indianapolis came back and led 7-6 after a 3-pointer by DeAndre Brock, who led Indy with 12 points in the game.

Junior Brandon Dagans, who scored 10 of his 16 in the first half, answered with a trey of his own on the next possession, and Lewis never trailed again. The Flyers shot 51.6 percent from the floor for the half, while holding Indianapolis to a 6-of-27 showing from the field.

Junior Ryan Sharp (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield Central)'s 3-pointer at 6:51 gave Lewis its first double-digit lead of the game, and senior Stephan Bolt added to that advantage on the next possession when he poked the ball loose from Tyke Cockerham and finished with a one-handed slam on the other end.

Lewis closed the half on a 14-2 run to open a 20-point halftime lead. Lewis led by as many as 26 in the second half, and Indianapolis never got any closer than the game's final 13-point margin.

Bolt finished 12 points and 12 boards, his ninth double-double of the season. The senior also became the seventh Flyer in program history to eclipse 600 career rebounds.

Junior Jason Genova poured in a game-high 17 points, scoring 11 of those in the second half. Sharp totaled eight points, nailing 2-of-3 from 3-point range. Freshman Dennis Thomas, Jr. added a personal-best seven points, and senior Dustin Warfield scored six points and pulled down five rebounds.

The Flyers held a dominating 37-21 advantage on the glass, holding Indianapolis to its lowest point total of the season.

The Flyers resume action on Thursday, playing a Kentucky Wesleyan.
