EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Senior Adam Stabosz allowed one run and junior Ryan Reynolds knocked in three in the Flyers' 4-1 game one victory over conference-foe No. 25 Southern Indiana on Saturday afternoon. Lewis fell in the second game 5-0.

In 7.1 innings Stabosz (2-5) allowed just two hits while punching out two. Stabosz got in a jam in the bottom of the eighth but senior Jon Crettol came in with the bases loaded and one out and allowed only one run to cross the plate before retiring the following two batters.

In the ninth junior Chris Brigham allowed only a leadoff single to earn his first save of the season.

Reynolds drove in three of the Flyers' four funs. In the second he singled in junior Chris McCall who led the inning off with a single. McCall and senior Mike Smith each had two walks in the contest.

The first three Lewis batters reached base in the sixth. Freshman Richard Forkin laid a bunt down for an infield single to score Smith. Then Reynolds singled to score McCall and senior Bryan Druktenis. It was Stabosz and the Flyers' pen the rest of the way.

In game two, the Flyers were doomed by five errors. Senior Ryan Duran (0-4) allowed all five runs over 5.1 innings, but only one was earned.

Lewis now stands at 14-19 (8-12) while Southern Indiana is 28-13 (17-4). The Flyers and Screaming Eagles play another doubleheader tomorrow.
