Saint Joseph's 62, Lewis 55 in PDF Format 
Rensselaer, Ind. - Saint Joseph, led by a game-high 17 points from freshman guard Phillip Collins, rallied from a five-point second half deficit to pick up the 62-55 Great Lakes Valley Conference victory over the Lewis men's basketball team, snapping the Flyers' three-game winning streak at Scharf Fieldhouse on Thursday night.
The Pumas also received a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds from senior forward Brandon Mayse.
With the victory, Saint Joseph's improves to 10-7 overall and 4-5 in GLVC play, while the Flyers drop to 10-7 on the season and 4-4 in conference action.
Lewis senior guard Brandon Dagans (Harvey, Ill./Thornton) led the Flyers with 16 points, while senior forward Jason Genova (Chicago, Ill./St. Patrick/Saint Xavier) added 12 in the loss.
For the game, Lewis shot 34.5% (20-for-58) from the field after shooting a season-best 67.2% against UW-Parkside last Saturday. Defensively, the Flyers forced 23 Puma turnovers on the night, but could not capitalize on Saint Joseph's miscues.
Lewis is back in action on Saturday night, as the Flyers will square off with Indianapolis for a 6:30 p.m. tip-off.
