Romeoville, Ill. - The No. 15 Lewis University women's basketball team (19-3, 13-1 GLVC) closes out play against the Great Lakes Valley Conference West Division on Saturday (Feb. 15) at No. 9 Drury. Tip-off for the contest is set for 1 PM at the O'Reilly Family Events Center.

SERIES RECORD – The Lady Panthers hold a 7-6 all-time series advantage.
AGAINST THE GLVC WEST - Lewis is 7-0 this season against GLVC West Division teams. The Flyers are averaging a 16.1-point scoring margin, dishing out 16.0 assists, and out-rebounding their West Division opponents, 43.9-34.1.
LAST TIME WE FACED OFF – Lewis collected a 78-55 victory at the O'Reilly Family Event Center on Jan. 3, 2013 in Springfield, Mo. Labrenthia Murdock (Round Lake, Ill./Round Lake) led five Flyers in double-figures with 17 points, hitting three three-pointers and was 4-for-4 from the free throw line.
LAST TIME ON THE COURT – The Flyers picked up a 90-71 victory over the Lady Miners on Thursday (Feb. 13) at Gale Bullman Multi-Purpose Building. Jess Reinhart (Normal, Ill./Bloomington Central Catholic) led four Flyers in double-figures with 25 points, while Mariyah Brawner-Henley (Skokie, Ill./Niles North) chipped in 20 points and nine boards.
TAKING ON RANKED TEAMS ON THE ROAD - The Flyers-Lady Panthers match up marks the second time that Lewis will take on a higher nationally ranked team on the road. The then-ranked No. 22 Flyers defeated then-ranked No. 16 Indianapolis 111-106 in triple overtime on Jan. 30th.
DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS - Lewis held Rockhurst to the lowest points scored by an opponent since a 39-37 Flyer victory over the Hawks on Dec. 1, 2007 in Kansas City, Mo.
SCORING THE BALL - Lewis' six wins scoring at least 90+ points this season is the most since the 1988-89 squad tallied seven victories of their own.
MOVING UP THE POLL - Lewis moved up one spot to No. 15 in the USA Today Sports Division II Coaches Poll released on Tuesday (Feb. 11).
TOP OF THE GLVC - Lewis tops the GLVC in rebounds, averaging 43.9 rebounds-per-game, and is ninth nationally in blocked shots, swatting 5.0 shots-per-game.
SOPHOMORE SHINING BRIGHT – Brawner-Henley is the first Flyer to average a double-double since Julie Fruendt completed the 1983-84 season averaging 18.9 points and 10.1 rebounds.
FINDING WHO'S OPEN - The Flyers, who lead the GLVC and are 11th nationally in assists averaging 17.9 helpers-per-game, dished out a season-high 26 assists against both Southern Indiana (Jan. 23) and at Indianapolis (Jan. 30).
BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER - Jamie Johnson (South Holland, Ill./Marian Catholic), who has started in all 22 contests, leads the GLVC averaging 35.6 minutes-per-game. Johnson missed the entire 2012-13 campaign due to a knee injury. She second in the GLVC and is eighth nationally in free throw percentage, hitting 76-of-84 (90.5%) shots from the charity stripe for the Flyers.
FLYING TO THE TOP – Brawner-Henley leads the country with 18 double-doubles in 22 contests this season, while ranking third nationally and leads the GLVC in rebounds, averaging 12.2 boards-per-game. The forward is also second in the GLVC in points (18.4 ppg.).
SHARING THE ROCK – Junior guard Nikki Nellen (New Berlin, Wis./Pius XI) second in the conference and is 15th nationally in assists, dishing out 5.2 assists-per-game while Johnson is fifth in the GLVC, averaging 4.4 helpers-per-game.
FLYERS WITH 20-POINTS IN A GAME – Lewis has had seven contests this season with at least two players scoring 20 points, the most since the 1989-90 season squad, which tallied nine.
DOUBLE-TROUBLE – For the third time this season, Brawner-Henley and Reinhart both collected double-doubles in the same game. The frontcourt duo posted double-doubles against Rockhurst (Feb. 6), Indianapolis (Jan. 30) and Purdue Calumet (Dec. 7).
DISHING DIMES - Nellen's 11 points and 10 assists against USI (Jan. 23) marked the first time since the 1986-87 season that a Flyer has collected a double-double in such a way since Rosemary Turner tallied 14 points and 11 assists in the Flyers 88-65 loss to Wright State on Dec. 16, 1986.
GUARDING AGAINST THE THREES - The Flyers are second the GLVC defending against three-pointers, holding opponents to 29.0% (111-383) from beyond the arc.
