Iowa City, Iowa - The No. 20 Lewis University women's basketball team was unable to overcome a 25.9% (14-for-54) shooting performance and being outrebounded 54-24, as the University of Iowa claimed the 61-35 exhibition victory over the Flyers at Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Sunday (Nov. 6)

Jamie Johnson (South Holland, Ill./Marian Catholic) topped the Flyers with 11 points, followed by nine points from sophomore forward
Jessica Kelliher (Waukesha, Wis./Waukesha North) and eight tallies from sophomore guard
Gabby Green (Milwaukee, Wis./Pius XI).
Lewis opens the 2016-17 campaign on Friday (Nov. 11), as the Flyers head to the University of Indianapolis to participate in the GLIAC/GLVC Challenge. The Flyers open with a 5:15 PM ET showdown with Walsh.
