Big Rapids, Mich. - The No. 18 Lewis University women's volleyball team made short work of Cedarville University, as the Flyers swept the Yellow Jackets, 25-16, 25-14, 25-13 in the NCAA Midwest Regional Tournament Semifinals, hosted by Ferris State, to advance to their first 'Sweet 16' since 2009.

Maddie Seliga (St. Louis, Mo./Nerinx Hall) topped the Flyers with 10 kills, while sophomore outside hitter
Elizabeth Hyland (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield Central) and junior middle hitter
Aly Schneider (Granger, Ind./Penn) each contributed eight putaways in the victory.
Hyland netted a team-best eight digs, while redshirt sophomore setter
Abby Becker (Menomonee Falls, Wis./Menomonee Falls) dished out a match-high 26 assists and recorded seven digs.
With the win, Lewis improves to 27-7 on the campaign and will take on either the host Bulldogs or Saginaw Valley State at 5 PM (ET) on Saturday (Dec. 3) for the Regional Championship. Cedarville ends the season with a record of 27-9.
Lewis hit .301 (35 kills, 10 errors, 83 attacks) as a team, while the Yellow Jackets managed a hitting percentage of .064 (27-21-94).
