Box Score Romeoville, Ill. - Lewis University men's basketball picked up their fourth straight home win Saturday (Dec. 3) beating the University of Indianapolis 75-70.
The Flyers were led in scoring by senior
Miles Simelton (Oswego, Ill./Oswego) who scored 14 points, 12 of which came from beyond the arc on 4-4 shooting. Junior
Nick Norton (Downers Grove, Ill./Downers Grove North) went 2-2 from deep which contributed to his 12 point game.
Sophomore
Frank Vukaj (Davison, Mich./Davison) and senior Capel Henshaw also scored in double-digits on the night. Vukaj had 13 points while Henshaw had 11.
Lewis can also attribute their win thanks to the 33 points scored from the bench. From the field the Flyers shot 53.8% (28-for-52) compared to the Greyhounds 44.8% from the field.
The Flyers will defend home court Wednesday (Dec. 7) as they take on St. Francis (IL) at 7:30 PM in Neil Carey Arena.
