Allendale, Mich. - Grand Valley State University led from start to finish as the Lakers picked up the 66-52 regional victory over the Lewis University women's basketball team at the GVSU Fieldhouse Arena on Sunday (Nov. 19) afternoon.
GVSU sophomore guard Jenn DeBoer led four Laker players in double-figures with 17 points, followed by 13 points apiece from junior guards Korynn Hincka (9 rebounds) and Natalie Koenig. The Lakes also received 12 points from redshirt junior forward Taylor Parmley.
With the win, GVSU improves to 4-0 on the campaign, while the Flyers fall to 2-2.

Jessica Kelliher (Waukesha, Wis./Waukesha North) knocked down 10-of-14 shots to finish with a game-high 25 points.
The Flyers shot 35.6% (21-for-59) from the field and 17.6% (3-for-17) from beyond the three-point arc.
GVSU knocked down 33.9% (21-for-62) of its field goal attempts and drained 10 three-pointers and only turned the ball over seven times in the win.
The Lakers took advantage of Lewis' 13 turnovers, scoring 22 points off of the Flyer miscues.
Lewis returns to action on Wednesday (Nov. 22), as the Flyers welcome Purdue Northwest to Neil Carey Arena for a 1 PM tip-off.
