ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – The 22nd ranked Lewis women's volleyball team won its sixth straight match with a four set win over Indianapolis on Tuesday night at Neil Carey Arena. Lewis hit .340 in the opening set and was led by

Lewis tried to rally late but was unable to overcome an eight point deficit and fell 25-20.
The swing set featured 10 ties and four lead changes. The set was even at 12 when The Flyers gained the momentum thanks to a 6-2 run. The 'Hounds refused to go away though cutting the deficit to 20-18 before Lewis put it away scoring five of the final six points.

Alexandra Preuss (Elmhurst, Ill./York) combined for all five kills during that run.
The Flyers stormed out to a 9-2 lead to begin the fourth set and never looked back on its way to the 25-18 win victory. They led by as many as 10 points but Indianapolis cut the lead to five points late to make things interesting before Lewis closed it out by scoring three of the final four points.
