ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – Lewis University's women's basketball team begins a road trip on Thursday at top ranked Drury at 5:45 p.m. at the O'Reilly Family Events Center. The road trip concludes on Saturday with the Flyers heading north on Highway 13 to take on Southwest Baptist at 1 p.m.

Last Time Out – The Flyers snapped a two-game losing streak with a 77-71 victory over Bellarmine last Saturday. Lewis outscored the Knights 12-2 in the final 79 seconds to erase a four-point deficit.
Kaitlyn Williams (Homer Glen, Ill./Joliet Catholic) hit the go-ahead bucket with a three-pointer from the right wing with 0:48 to play.
Katie Gardner (Franklin, Wis./Pius XI) recorded career-highs in points (27) and rebounds (11) while
Rachel Hinders (Johnston, Iowa/Johnston) added 19 points. Williams finished with 12 points.
Hinders reaches double figures again – Hinders had 19 points in Lewis' win over Bellarmine, marking the 19th time this season that she has reached double-figures in the scoring column. She has currently scored 1,343 points and is closing in on being the 12th player in school history to reach 1,500 points in a career. Hinders is also 11th all-time in school history with 702 rebounds and needs seven rebounds to pass Mary Moskal for 10th in school history.
Block Party – Lewis is second in the GLVC in blocked shots with 4.25 per contest trailing only Missouri S&T who is averaging 4.26 blocks per game.
Morgan Glatczak (Mukwonago, Wis./Mukwonago) is second in the conference in blocked shots with 2.79 per game.
About Drury – The Panthers improved to 21-0, 12-0 GLVC with a pair of home wins over Missouri S&T and Maryville last weekend. Drury has won 60 straight regular season contests and haven't lost in the regular season since losing at Bellarmine 84-70 on Jan. 18, 2018. Hailey Diestelkamp leads the Panthers in scoring and rebounding with 18.2 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. She is joined in double figures in scoring by Paige Robinson with 13.8 points per game. Daejah Bernard leads the team in assists with 107.
Series vs. Drury – Thursday's contest marks the 22nd meeting all-time between Lewis and Drury with the Panthers holding a 14-7 advantage in the series. Drury currently owns a five-game winning streak in the series. The Panthers lead the series 9-3 in Springfield.
About Southwest Baptist – The Bearcats head into Thursday's contest against Illinois Springfield with a record of 11-9, 5-7 GLVC and have won two straight. SBU defeated Maryville and Missouri S&T last week. Bailey Rezabek leads the Bearcats in scoring with 17.3 points per game while Kyleigh Vaught is contributing 11.1 points per contest. Regan Tibbits leads the team in rebounding with 5.7 boards per contest. Vaught also leads the team in assists with 80 on the season.
Series vs. Southwest Baptist – Saturday's contest with the Bearcats will be the second meeting all-time between the two schools. The Flyers defeated SBU 81-62 in Honolulu, Hawaii on Nov. 24, 2011.
