ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The No. 20 Lewis University women's volleyball team clinched a share of the Great Lakes Valley Conference regular season title and earned the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament with a four set win (20-25, 25-16, 25-17, 25-12) over Missouri-St. Louis Saturday (Nov. 6).

With the win the Flyers move to 21-6 overall, 15-1 in the GLVC, while the Tritons snap their four-game winning streak and fall to 19-7 overall, 12-3 in the GLVC.

The second stanza was even at 10 when the Flyers made their move going on an 11-3 run to build a 21-13 lead after a kill from Lauren Stenman (Maplewood, Minn./North St. Paul). The Flyers hit .350 in the final frame recording 16 kills against two errors in 40 swings and were led by Van Loo and Schlecht with four kills apiece.
