FROSTBURG, MD -- The Lewis University women's lacrosse team dropped its match 16-5 against Frostburg State Saturday (Feb. 25).

QUARTER BREAKDOWN
FIRST QUARTER: Frostburg State 7, Lewis 1
- Frostburg State scored the first two goals of the contest in the first three minutes of the game.
- Lewis was able to get on the scoreboard after Bracey found the back of the net with 11:51 left in the first quarter.
SECOND QUARTER: Frostburg State 5, Lewis 0
- FSU scored all five goals in the second quarter after holding Lewis off the scoreboard.
THIRD QUARTER: Lewis 3, Frostburg State 2
- Bracey was able to find Catherine Roney (Arlington Heights, IL/Saint Viator) with 8:08 left in the third quarter, which made it 13-2 FSU.
- Ameila Procyk (Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada/Dr. Charles Best) cut it down to 10 after scoring her first goal of the contest at the 3:46 mark in the third.
- Frostburg State bounced back with another goal before Bowen responded with a goal of her own in the last minute of the third.
FOURTH QUARTER: Frostburg State 2, Lewis 1
- Frostburg State added to its lead with the first two goals of the second half which made it 16-4.
- Bowen scored her team-high second goal of the match with 2:03 remaining in the match to make it 16-5.
FINAL SCORE: Frostburg State 16, Lewis 5
