ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - The Lewis University women's cross country team placed second at the NCAA Midwest Regional Saturday (Nov. 9) with 64 total points. The top three teams earn automatic berths to the NCAA Division II Championships, which takes place Nov. 23 at the Arcade Creek Cross Country Course in Sacramento, Calif.
Grand Valley State won the meet with 20 points, while Cedarville placed third with 146. The Flyers finished the race with all seven runners finishing in the top 25.
