ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – The Lewis University men's lacrosse team won their fourth straight game, 14-6 over Walsh Saturday (March 2) at Lewis Stadium.

SUMMARY
It took just five seconds for the Flyers to get on the scoreboard as Tarello found the back of the net. Two minutes later Walsh evened the game and a minute after that it took a 2-1 lead.
After more than nine scoreless minutes, Schermerhorn evened the score at 2-2 with 2:10 left in the quarter.
Lewis grabbed the lead back early in the second quarter on Good's eighth goal of the year with an assist from
Nolan Dalep (Victoria, British Columbia, Canada/Claremont Secondary School). Walsh answered again with back-to-back goals to take a 4-3 lead with 6:17 left in the half.
The Flyers came back to even the score on a goal from
Zach Buddelmeyer (Springboro, Ohio/Springboro HS) with an assist from Kendrick. Schermerhorn put the Flyers back on top with his second over the game, but Walsh scored with 10 seconds left in the half to tie the score at 5-5 going into the break.
Lewis took control, scoring all six goals of the third quarter to pull ahead 11-5.
Drew Andre (Pitt Meadows, British Columbia, Canada/Pitt Meadows Secondary School) scored the first goal on a pass from Clement.
Paul Ruskoski (Tulsa, Oklahoma/Bishop Kelley HS) gave Lewis its first two-goal advantage of the game at the 8:35 mark.
Clement finished the period scoring the final four goals, with two of the assists coming from Boyenko.
Clement continued the scoring to open the fourth quarter, tallying his 13
th goal of the year on a pass from Kendrick. Walsh stopped the seven-goal run with a tally with 12:58 remaining.
The Flyers finished off the scoring with goals by Dalep and
Nate McLean (Crystal Lake, Illinois/Crystal Lake Central HS) as the two teams went scoreless over the final 10 minutes of the game.
