GAME SUMMARY
Fresh off a career game, Gugliuzza got the Flyers off to a good start with a three-pointer to start the game and give the Flyers a lead they would never relinquish. A pair of baskets from Badali after a Cesarini basket gave Lewis a 9-4 lead.

Two more Gugliuzza three-pointers built the lead to 15-7. Baskets by Cesarini and McNamee gave the Flyers a 19-10 lead after the first quarter.

In a low scoring second quarter, a Badali three-pointer gave Lewis its largest lead of the half at 24-12 with 7:45 left in the second quarter. The defenses took control from there, as the Miners outscored the Flyers 7-3 the remainder of the half as Lewis led 27-19 at the break.

Lewis built its lead back up to 12 points twice during the third quarter as the Flyers led 35-23 at the 6:58 mark of the quarter. The Miners would cut the lead to five points multiple times in the quarter before a pair of free throws from Badali ended the scoring for the quarter, giving the Flyers a 45-38 advantage.

That was the start of an 8-0 run for the Flyers as they scored the first three baskets of the fourth quarter to build their largest lead of the game at 51-38 with 7:54 left in the game.

The Flyers would maintain their double digit lead until 1:26 remaining when a three-pointer from the Miners cut the lead to seven at 54-47. Lewis went 5-for-6 from the free-throw line the remainder of the game to clinch the victory.

Lewis held the Miners to 33.9 percent shooting (19-of-56) for the game and 4-of-19 shooting (21.1%) from beyond the arc.
