Rolla, Mo. - The Lewis men's soccer team heads back to Romeoville after losing Sunday's (Oct. 12) match to the Missouri S&T Miners.
Lewis is now 3-4-5 overall with a 2-4-2 conference record while Missouri S&T becomes 6-3-2 and 4-3-1 in the conference
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Miners set the tone early scoring within the first five minutes of the contest. Alonzo Edmond, Brendan Owens (2) and Joa Vieira were the goal scorers for Missouri S&T.
For the second game in a row the 90 minutes in the net was split between the starting
Yoan Zagorov (Sofia, Bulgaria) and
Jeremiah Higgins (Chicago, Ill./Lane Tech), both allowed two goals. Cavitt Bruhn played a full 90 for the Miners with three saves.
