GAME SUMMARY
The Flyers never trailed throughout the contest for the second game in a row. After a jumper from Gugliuzza, the Flyers were off the runway.
Gugliuzza would go green from the midrange on the next drive down the floor followed by Hoover.  Cesarini and Badali would pencil in points in the scorebook with two point attempts, followed by a small stop in scoring for the Flyers.
Kree Nunnally (Crystal Lake, Ill./Example Academy) would end the drought with a two for two trip to the free throw line. The Flyers would end the first quarter with a score of 24-12.
A pair of
Cierra McNamee (Moline, Ill./Illinois Central College) free throws would start the Flyers' scoring in the second quarter. Gugliuzza would throw up a pair of good three-pointers to give the Flyers a 21-point lead.Â
The Flyers would again go a stretch of the game scoreless, but another Gugliuzza three right before halftime would send the two teams into the locker room at halftime with a 39-29 score in favor of Lewis.
Gugliuzza would hit another three to start the second half, followed by Hoover with one of her own and a Badali jump shot from the mid-range. Gugliuzza would then have eight straight points off of two threes and a jumper in the paint.Â
The game would be wrapped up with someÂ
Mercy Lasu (Winnipeg, Canada/D'Youville) and
Ana Haklicka (Dubrovnik, Croatia/Chicago State) bench points. The Flyers would end the fourth quarter with 78-52 lead taking another conference win.
