ROMEOVILLE, Ill. -- The Lewis University Athletic Department proudly hosted its sixth annual Flyer Red Dinner, honoring the Class of 2025 Hall of Fame inductees. This year's distinguished honorees included
George DiMatteo,
Joe Falese,
Amanda Farrough, Isaac Jean-Paul,
Reetta Laakkonen, the
1981 women's volleyball team, and the
2001 softball team. Additionally,
Janeen Decharinte was recognized as the Brother Raymond McManaman Lasallian of the Year.
The event welcomed 266 Flyer supporters for an evening of inspiring interviews and heartfelt storytelling. During the dinner, Assistant Vice President of Athletics
John Ashaolu launched the Lewis Hall of Fame Renovation Project by contributing a $1,000 matching gift. In conjunction with the 2025 Lewis Day of Giving, the initiative successfully raised $13,000 toward the project.
