INDIANAPOLIS -- The Great Lakes Valley Conference announced on Thursday (May 1) that Indrek Soome (Pielavesi, Finland/Emmanuel College) has been named All-GLVC First Team for the second consecutive year.

The All-GLVC First Team selections are voted on by GLVC men's tennis coaches, who are not allowed to vote for their own players. 
 
Soome served as the primary No. 1 singles player for Lewis this season, recording six singles match victories overall and two conference wins. Soome and his doubles partner, Roberto Leal (Maracay, Venezuela/Colegio San José), were ranked 19^th in the ITA Division II men's tennis rankings.

Additionally, they competed at the No. 1 doubles spot at Lewis, winning 12 matches overall and four conference matches this season. Along with being named All-GLVC First Team, Soome was honored for the Lewis GLVC Men's Tennis James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award.
