LEBANON, Ill. - The Lewis University men's soccer team drew 1-1 with McKendree on Wednesday (Sept. 30) at Leemon Field. The draw moves the Flyers to 2-6-2 (1-5-2 GLVC) on the season while the Bearcats see their record shift to 2-6-2 (1-4-2 GLVC).

IMPACT PLAYERS
Oliver Bielecki (Des Plaines, Ill./Elk Grove) scored the Flyers' lone goal. In net,
Jan Foret (Velke Opatovice, Czechia/Skola Hlavniho Mesta Prahy) made two saves.

For the Bearcats, Philip Muehlhans had one goal. Luka Srzic had four saves.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Bielecki got the scoring started with the first goal of the game 20 minutes in, putting the Flyers ahead. Just 20 minutes later, Muehlhans put the ball in the net on an assist from Dusan Dordevic to put the Bearcats on the board.

After a hard-fought second half and multiple chances from both teams, neither side found the back of the net before the clock expired, and the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
