After a scoreless first two innings, the Bearcats got on the board in the top of the third on a single and added four more runs in the fourth inning on a grand slam by Lauren Harris to make it 5-0. They added another run in the fifth and two more in the seventh.

Nicole Magdziasz (Tinley Park, Ill./Providence Catholic High School) had the lone hit for the Flyers. Sami Huck (19-6) earned the win, allowing one hit and two walks over seven innings, striking out 10 batters.
