Greenwood, Ind. - The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Swimming Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom.
Juan Jose Castro (Cali, Colombia/Corporacion Cultural Colegio Aleman) and
Amelia Marsicek (Centennial. Col./Regis Jesuit) earned the honor for the Flyers this season.
Castro was named into the men's team after a season that saw him qualify 2026 NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships. He also set the school record for the 500 free and a NCAA b-cut time of 4:24.15 at the IU Indy House of Champions Invitational back on Nov. 20.
Marsicek, an All-American, reached fourth place at the NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championship 200 back A-Final, setting a school record with her 1:58.33 time. She also set a new Lewis record in the 200 back with a 55.92 time at the 2026 GLVC Swimming and Diving Championships.
Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. CSC Academic All-America® honorees will be announced later this year.
