Romeoville, Ill. — Lewis University head women's basketball coach
Dodie Dunson Jr. announced the Flyers' 2026-27 schedule on Friday: a 28-game slate featuring 12 home contests and 16 on the road, plus two exhibition contests.
Lewis opens the season with a pair of road exhibition games, traveling to Loyola Chicago on Oct. 27 before heading to Northwestern on Oct. 30.
The Flyers open the regular season at home on Nov. 9, hosting Northwood at Neil Carey Arena. Lewis then hits the road for five consecutive contests, beginning with a trip to face Northern Michigan (Nov. 13) and Michigan Tech (Nov. 14) in Wisconsin Dells, Wis. The Flyers continue their road swing at Davenport (Nov. 19), Hillsdale (Nov. 21) and Parkside (Nov. 25).
Lewis returns home on Nov. 29 to begin Great Lakes Valley Conference play against Illinois Springfield.
The Flyers open December with a road contest at Central State (Dec. 1) before traveling to face defending GLVC Women's Basketball Tournament champion Maryville (Dec. 5). Lewis returns to Neil Carey Arena on Dec. 16 to host Indianapolis before closing out the calendar year at home against Roosevelt on Dec. 20.
The new year features four of Lewis' first five games at home, beginning with a match-up against the 2025 Great Lakes Valley Conference Champion Quincy (Jan. 2). This will mark the 61st meeting between the programs, with Lewis holding a 32-28 advantage in the all-time series. Lewis has won nine of the last 10 meetings, including a 66-63 victory over the Hawks in Romeoville during the 2024-25 season.
Lewis stays at home against Missouri-St. Louis (Jan. 4) before traveling to McKendree (Jan. 7). The Flyers return to Neil Carey Arena to host William Jewell on Jan. 9 and Maryville on Jan. 13.
The Flyers continue GLVC play with four straight road contests, visiting Rockhurst (Jan. 16), Quincy (Jan. 20), Missouri-St. Louis (Jan. 27) and Drury (Jan. 30). The Flyers also host Southwest Baptist on Jan. 23 during the stretch.
The regular season plays into February with Lewis hosting McKendree (Feb. 3) and Lincoln (Feb. 6). The Flyers then travel to Missouri S&T (Feb. 13) and Illinois Springfield (Feb. 17) before returning home to face Truman State on Feb. 20.
Lewis will close out its regular-season home schedule against Indianapolis on Feb. 24. The match-up will mark the 90th all-time meeting between the programs, with the Flyers holding a 52-37 advantage in the series.
Following the final home contest, Lewis will close out the regular season on the road, traveling to Upper Iowa on Feb. 27.
The Flyers will then turn their attention to the GLVC Tournament, which is scheduled for March 4-7, followed by the NCAA Division II postseason beginning with the NCAA Midwest Regional Tournament March 12-16. The NCAA Division II Elite Eight is slated for March 23-27.

all-access pass that grants admission to
ANY home Lewis University athletic event during the 2026–27 season. The all-access pass costs $250.
