2009-10 Highlights: Finished season with a singles record of 6-12 and a combined 10-7 in doubles play...Delahanty Award winner, given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence...earned a pair of wins in an 8-1 win over Quincy (Apr. 11) with a 6-2, 6-0 victory against Lauren Henry at No. 4 singles and teamed with Jody Wagner for the 8-2 triumph over Megan Marsot and Michelle Bertelsman at No. 3 doubles...picked up two wins in an 8-1 victory over Kentucky Wesleyan (Apr .10) with a 6-1, 6-3 defeat of Alycia Lynch at No. 4 singles and an 8-3 win with Wagner over Jennifer Settle and Jamie Brown at No. 3 doubles...garnered a pair of victories in a 9-0 whitewash over Maryville (Apr. 1) with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Cari Ranck at No. 4 singles and an 8-0 blanking of Karen Schwarm and Anne Kilian at No. 3 doubles...came from behind to earn the 0-6, 6-1, 10-3 win over Robert Morris[apos] Belen Guerrero and also teamed up with Clare Kessler for the 8-1 win over Guerrero and Mallorie Mengelt at No. 3 doubles on September 30th.
2008-09 Highlights: Academic All-GLVC selection and Delahanty Award winner, given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence...was 6-14 in singles action, primarily at No. 5, and a combined 11-9 in doubles play, primarily at No. 3...paired up with Clare Kessler for three GLVC victories over Indianapolis, Kentucky Wesleyan and Quincy at No. 3 doubles...earned three straight singles wins over Kentucky Wesleyan[apos]s Alycia Lynch, Saint Joseph[apos]s Jessica Portney and Maryville[apos]s Beth Nunn from April 4-9th...teamed up with Jordan Lynde for three victories on their way to win the 'C[apos] Flight draw at the Upper Iowa Invitational (Sept. 14).
Prep/Personal: Was a three-year letterwinner for Carroll High School...competed at No. 1 singles (senior), No. 3 singles (junior) and No. 2 doubles (sophomore) during her career...was a first-team all-conference selection, co-captain and Team MVP as a senior...three-time regional qualifier and sectional champion...was ranked as high as No. 13 in the USTA as a senior, while compiling a singles record of 19-7, helping Carroll to a berth in the sectional final...had a record of 20-4 in No. 3 singles action as a junior on her way to the sectional championship and team sectional championship...was 15-6 in doubles action as a sophomore and earned a sectional championship...was a member of the National Honor Society and National Society of Collegiate Scholars...was a member of the Wildwood Tennis Club - High Performance class...daughter of Claude and Kira Novack.
