2002-03: Recorded top times of :20.95 (50 free), :45.72 (100 free), 1:42.72 (200 free), :51.32 (100 fly), and 2:01.90 (200 fly) ... set 13 school records and three pool records ... became Lewis[apos] first male swimmer to qualify for the NCAA Championships; also became Lewis[apos] first male All-American in swimming when he placed 16th in the 50 free to earn All-America Honorable Mention recognition ... placed 18th in the 100 free, 24th in the 200 free and 32nd in the 100 fly at the NCAA Championships ... finished eighth in the 50 free, fifth in the 100 free, sixth in the 200 free, seventh in the 200 fly, fourth in the 200 free relay, fifth in the 400 free relay and sixth in the 200 medley relay at the Central States Championships ... was a 15-time event winner and placed in the top three 25 times.
2001-02: Named team[apos]s Most Valuable Swimmer ... at the Central States Championships, placed third in the 400 free relay, fifth in the 200 medley relay, sixth in the 400 medley and 800 free relays, 11th in the 100 fly and 100 free and 12th in the 50 free ... set eight school records during the year ... set school records in 100 free and 100 fly at Miami (Ohio) Invitational ... set school record in 500 free (5:00.93) that was broken later in the year ... provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 100 free (:47.31), but did not earn a trip to the national meet ... won the 50 free vs. Eastern Illinois, Lincoln/North Central, Grand Valley State and Hillsdale ... won the 100 free vs. Grand Valley State ... won the 100 fly vs. Valparaiso ... placed in the top three 19 times.
