2011 Highlights: Br. David Delahanty Award winner, given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence, and Academic All-GLVC honoree...set personal-records in the indoor 800-meter run (2:24.22), outdoor 800-meter run (2:29.18), 1,500-meter run (4:53.04) and 3,000-meter run (10:32.3).
2010 Highlights: Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award, given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence...selected to All-GLVC Outdoor First Team after placing second in the 5,000-meter run (18:08.12) at the GLVC Outdoor Championships (May 8)...placed second overall in the 5,000-meter run at the Illinois Intercollegiates (Jan. 30) with a time of 18:34.28...won the 1-mile run (5:17.45) at the Cardinal Classic (Feb. 20).
Prep/Personal: Four-time all-conference in both cross country and track and field...two-time cross country team MVP...placed sixth overall in the IHSA Cross Country State Championships as a junior with a time of 17:56, helping her to Champaign News Gazette Athlete of the Year honors and leading Mahomet-Seymour to a fourth-place team finish...helped Mahomet-Seymour to four consecutive regional, conference and sectional championships...earned All-State honors as a senior in the 3,200-meter run...four-year member of the honor roll and academic letter recipient...daughter of Mark and Liz Clawson...major is elementary education.
