2015 Highlights: Competed in five events...was the third Flyer to cross the finish line at the 5-mile National Catholic Championships (Sept. 18) with a time of 26:51.11...was Lewis' No. 2 runner at both the 8K Conference Cross-Over (26:11.21; Oct. 10) and 8K GLVC Championships (27:02.6; Oct. 24)...finished fourth among Lewis runners at the 10K NCAA Midwest Regional Championships (Nov. 7) with a time of 33:24.08...recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence  - and named to Academic All-GLVC Team.

2014 Highlights: Competed in five races...placed 19th overall with a time of 20:33.4 at the 6K Flyer/Flames Challenge (Sept. 5)...earned a career-best 8K time of 25:37 at the UW-Oshkosh AAE Invitational (Oct. 18)...recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence...named to Academic All-GLVC Team.

2013 Highlights: Raced in five events, including a ninth-place showing of 20:47 at the 4-mile Bradley Intercollegiate (Sept. 6), helping the Flyers to the team title...was Lewis' No. 5 runner at the 8K Lucian Rosa Invitational (Oct. 12) with a time of 26:24.2...keyed Lewis to a second-place finish at the 8K GLVC Championships (Oct. 26) with a 32nd-place and career-best mark of 26:07...was the Flyers' No. 4 runner at the 10K NCAA Midwest Regional Championships (Nov. 9) with a time of 33:36...named to Academic All-GLVC Team.

2012 Highlights: Competed in seven events during the 2012 season...making career high times in multiple events...the 6k at the 2012 Illini Challenge (Aug. 31) with a time of 20:31, the 8k at the GLVC Championship (Oct. 20) with a time of 26:24.80, and the 10k at the Midwest Regional Championship (Nov. 31) with a time of 34:13.

Prep/Personal: Four-year letterwinner in both cross country and track and field for Marquette Academy...named both Most Valuable and The Times and News Tribune Cross Country Runner of the Year as he placed 10th overall at the IHSA State Cross Country Championship as a senior...added conference, regional and sectional cross country titles in 2011...claimed All-State honors in the 1-mile run as a senior and qualified as a member of the 4x800 relay team...as a junior, qualified for the IHSA State Track and Field Championships in both the 1-mile run and as a member of the 4x800 relay team...earned Most Improved accolades in both cross country and track and field as a junior...made it to the IHSA State Track and Field Championships as a sophomore in the 3,200-meter run...helped Marquette to four regional track and field championships, three sectional championships, two conference championships and two top-10 finishes at the IHSA State Championships...earned the IHSA Scholastic Achievement Award and the Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Award...son of Robert and Alice Weissensel...Sport Management major.
