2017  Highlights: Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award – given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence... averaged 77.00 through 27 rounds... shot a season low of 71 in the third round of the Farmers Insurance Invitational... finished in the top five at the Battle of the Beach (Mar. 10-11) with 154 (79-75)... finished in the top ten twice, at the Buccaneer Invitational (Oct. 17-18) shooting a 234 (73-81-80) and Battle at the Beach.

2015-16 Highlights: Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award – given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence - and named to Academic All-GLVC Team…averaged a 76.93 in 14 rounds…finished 11th among 57 competitors in the Naperville Collegiate Invite (Sep. 28) with a score of 79…placed 17th in a field of 120 at the Midwest Regional #2 (Oct. 12-13) with a two-round total of 154 (77-77)…shot a season low of 71 with a three-round total of 220 (74-71-75) at the CSUSM Fall Classic (Oct. 26-27) and tied for 25th place against 63 competitors.

2014-15 Highlights: Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence...named to Academic All-GLVC Team...tied for seventh with a single round score of 72 at the St. Francis Fall Classic (Sept. 9)...took fourth with a two round total of 152 at the Loyola New Orleans Invite (March 9).

Prep/Personal: Four-year letterwinner and three-year All-Mississippi Valley Conference performer for Triad...as a senior, 74.8 average and tied for fifth at the Class 2A State Championship following a regional title...set the school-record for 9-hole average with a 35.9...collected a school-record, 9-hole score of 31 (-4)...Belleville News Democrat Co-Player of the Year...son or Ron and Tracey Buente...major is mathematics.
