2009-10 Highlights: Member of the All-GLVC Indoor and Outdoor First Teams after running a leg of the runner-up 4x200 relay (1:42.88) and finishing second in the 200-meter dash (25.61) at the GLVC Indoor Championships (Feb. 27) and claimed the pole vault title with a mark of 10[apos]10[quote] at the GLVC Outdoor Championships (May 7)...won the pole vault (10[apos]0[quote]) and placed second in the 55-meter dash (7.41) and 200-meter dash (26.33) at the Dick Pond Invitational (Jan. 16)...captured the 200-meter dash (26.32) title and added a pair of runner-up finishes in the 55-meter dash (7.56) and pole vault (10[apos]0[quote]) at the Ranger Open (Jan. 22)...won the 200-meter dash (26.78) and ran a leg of the first-place 4x200 relay (1:45.81) at the Chicagoland Championships (Feb. 12)...finished second overall in the 200-meter dash (26.16) at the Cardinal Classic (Feb. 20)... earned two first-place finishes in the 100-meter dash (12.51) and 200-meter dash (25.31) at the Chicagoland Championships (Apr. 10)...finished second in the 100-meter dash (12.42) at the Gina Relays (Apr. 24)...finished second in the pole vault (10[apos]10[quote]) at The Penultimate (May 15). 2008-09 Highlights: Named to the All-GLVC Indoor First Team after running a leg of the winning 4x200 relay (1:44.54) at the GLVC Indoor Championships (Feb. 28)...earned All-GLVC Outdoor First Team honors after winning the javelin (112[apos]3[quote]) at the GLVC Outdoor Championships (May 2)...won the 200-meter dash (27.01) at the Dick Pond Invitational (Feb. 21)...finished third overall in the pole vault (8[apos]5 1/4[quote]) at the Dick Pond Invitational (Feb. 21)...picked up the javelin (110[apos]2[quote]) title at the DePauw Invitational (Apr. 4)...was second in the 200-meter dash (26.28) and third in the javelin (101[apos]1[quote]) at the Eagle Invitational (Apr. 18). Prep/Personal: Three-year varsity letterwinner in both track and volleyball for Ashton-Franklin Center...named Athlete of the Year for Ashton-Franklin Center as a senior...three-time state qualifier for track and field...two-time Northwest Upstate Illini Conference champion in the 100 and 200-meter dashes...won the 100-meter dash at the Stillman Valley Invitational as a senior...graduated with high honors...daughter of Scott and Sandy Murphy...major is sports management.
