2017 Highlights: Appeared in 32 games with 28 starts...tied for third on the team with nine doubles...went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a home run and two RBI against Truman (March 18)...had three doubles at St. Joseph's (April 15)...finished the year with five multi hit games.
2016 Highlights: Started in 45-of-46 games played…led team in home runs (9)…finished the season with a slugging percentage of .489…brought in four RBI on two home runs vs. Mary (March 1)…went 4-for-5 with two home runs at Illinois Springfield (April 8)…homered and doubled vs. Tiffin (March 4).
2015 Highlights: Selected to the All-GLVC East First Team...led the Flyers with a .346 batting average...had 47 hits with 25 RBI...went on a 17-game streak with at least one hit...struck out only seven times in 136 at-bats...picked up a GLVC Player of the Week honor during the season...went three-for-four with a home-run and a double, producing two RBI against UW-Parkside (Apr. 14)...smashed his third home run and ninth double of the season, bringing in three runs, against Saint Joseph's (Apr. 24)...recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence.
Personal/Prep: Bloom was named MSL All-Conference and Daily Herald All-Area in his sophomore and junior seasons at Hoffman Estates...as a sophomore, he collected two school-records with 49 hits and nine home runs, and posted the second-best batting average (.450) and the fourth-best RBI total (37) Hoffman Estates program history...as a junior season he slugged .670, with six home runs and 14 doubles while hitting .386 with 20 RBI... Psychology major.
