2017 Highlights: Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award – given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence...started in 46 of 47 games played...tied for team lead with 32 runs scored...went 5-for-6 with five runs scored, three runs driven in and a home run at St. Joseph's (April 15)...went 4-for-5 with four runs scored and a home run at UW-Parkside (March 25)...scored three runs at UW-Parkside (March 24)...recorded three hits and four RBI at Illinois-Springfield (April 8)...

David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence - and named to the Academic All-GLVC Team…recipient of the Divison 2 ADA Academic Achievement Award...named to the All-GLVC second team…started in 46-of-47 games played…finished second on the team in doubles (13)…batting average of .368 and slugging average of .553…homered twice at Illinois Springfield (April 9)…totaled four hits (including a triple and a RBI) and four runs vs. Tiffin (March 4)…recorded a season high of 5 RBI after hitting 3-for-5 with two homers and a double at Indianapolis (April 3)…went 4-for-5 and had four runs vs. Tiffin (March 4).
2015 Highlights: Named All-GLVC Second Team…started 42 games at second base for the Flyers…led the team in hits (53) with a .319 batting average…second on the team in both doubles (14) and steals (9)…brought in two RBI, going three-for-five with two doubles vs. Drury (March 16)…fielded 22 double-play balls...recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence - and named to Academic All-GLVC Team.
Personal/Prep: Tyrell helped Minooka to three straight Southwest Prairie Conference titles heading into the 2014 season...named Southwest Prairie Conference All-Conference and a Morris Daily Herald All-Area First Team selection while he hit .391 from the lead off position, with two home runs, seven doubles and scored 35 runs as a junior...was also an Illinois State High School Coaches Association Summer State All-Tournament Team honoree... Accounting major.
