2010 Highlights: Appeared in 16 matches with 14 starts...scored two goals and tied for the team lead with six assists...had an assist in the 6-0 victory over Maryville (Sept. 10)...scored two goals and added an assist in the 3-1 win over Southern Indiana (Sept. 17)...posted an assist in consecutive games in wins against then No. 23 Bellarmine (Sept. 24) and Kentucky Wesleyan (Sept. 26)...had two assists in the 6-0 triumph over Saint Joseph’s (Oct. 10).
2009 Highlights: Appeared in 21 games and made nine starts...totaled two goals and one assist...came off the bench in overtime to score the game-winning goal in the 92nd minute in a 1-0 win over Indianapolis (Oct. 4)...posted his first collegiate goal against Maryville (Sep. 9)...dished out an assist in a 4-0 win over UIS (Oct. 18)...finished the season with 18 shots, eight of which were on goal.
Prep/Personal: Two-time All-Conference, All-Sectional and Daily Southtown All-Area midfielder for Lincoln-Way East...posted a combined 22 goals and 20 assists for the Griffins in his final two seasons...two-time team Offensive Player of the Year...named the Daily Southtown/Chicago Fire Player of the Week as a senior...member of the high honor roll...was an Illinois State Scholar and member of the All-Academic Southwest Suburban Conference team...played for the Windy City Pride soccer club...son of Robert and Laurel McGowan...major is undecided.
