Prior to Lewis: Navarrete competed last year at Limestone College in South Carolina. She finished second place in the 200 fly at the Conference of Carolinas meet with a time of 2:16.79 and finished third in the 100 fly with a time of 1:00.59. Navarrete finished seventh in the 50 free at the Fall Frenzy. She won the 100 and 200 fly in Limestone's conference opener against Chowan. She competed for the Panama National Team in 2016 at the Central America and Mexico Championships in 2016 and for Panama at the Central America and Caribbean Amateur Swimming Confederation (CCCAN) Championships.

Prep/Personal: Daughter of Veronica Villegas and Alejandro Navarrete...majoring in sport management and marketing.
