Summary

Biography

Karwoski began coaching in 2004 as the head softball coach at Morehead State University in Morehead, Kentucky. She held the position until 2007, leading the program to its best record before being named the associate head coach at Boston College from 2007-2011. During her time at BC, she spearheaded outstanding achievements, including finishing second overall in home runs and slugging percentage in 2011.
 
The program also had records in doubles and runs scored. After her time in Chestnut Hill, Karowski was named the head softball coach at Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts.

After one season at the helm, she was named head softball coach at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut, a position she held for five seasons. During her time at QU, she recorded over 100 wins and qualified for the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Tournament in 2016. 

Karwoski was named the head softball coach at Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island for five seasons. She led the program to its best record since 2006 with a tournament berth and 30 wins in 2019.

After a successful career at Providence, she was named the assistant softball coach at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, a position she currently holds. Karwoski also founded Softball Climate and serves as the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the Connecticut Charge, a club softball program based out of Cheshire, Connecticut.

Prior to coaching, Karwoski graduated from Lewis University with a degree in Sports Management in 2001 and a minor in coaching. Karwoski was a four-year letter winner in softball at Lewis from 1997-2001, where she was a two-time team MVP and four-time NFCA (National Fastpitch Coaches Association Academic All-American. 

Her career at Lewis University was capped off by a NFCA All-Region Team selection and receiving all-tournament team honors in 2001. Karwoski was also a member of the women's basketball team at Lewis during her last two seasons at the school.
 
After her time at Lewis, Karwoski went on to receive her master's degree from Morehead State in 2002. 

Karwoski's significant other is Rebecca Carlson and they have two children, Skylar and Charleigh.
