Biography

2017 Highlights: Appeared in 11 games, making six starts...Earned the win against Truman (March 20), going 6.1 innings, allowing two hits and one earned run, striking out six.

2016 Highlights: Started in 11-of-13 games pitched…tied for the team lead in wins (5)…picked up first win after allowing three runs in 7.1 innings vs. Seton Hill (Feb. 28)…struck out six batters and only allowed one hit in 7.0 complete game against UW-Parkside (March 26)…gave up two runs with five strikeouts in victory vs. Kentucky Wesleyan (March 19).

2015 Highlights: Made 11 appearances with seven starts on the mound for the Flyers…earned his first collegiate win with a complete game against St. Xavier (Apr. 8) giving up one run with eight strike outs…contributed to the win over Southern Indiana (Apr. 18) with four Ks and no runs.

Personal/Prep: Hottle was a three sport athlete at Monmouth-Roseville...was a two-time West Central All-Conference First Team selection...posted a 2.00 ERA and struck out 66 batters in 44 innings of work as a junior...at the plate, he hit .370 with two home runs to lead his squad...played with the Top Tier 17U Americans while in 2012 he played in the PBR Midwest Future Games... Aviation Flight Management major.
