Mark Switalski has returned home.
A starter from the memorable 2009 Lewis squad that advanced to the NCAA Division II Final Four, Switalski enters his second season on the Flyer coaching staff.
Switalski makes the transition from Millikin University, where he served as an assistant for the Big Blue in 2014. During his brief stay, he helped guide Millikin to its most wins since 2010 (9) and its first conference tournament appearance in 12 years. Millikin's squad also featured two All-CCIW selections and one All-Regional player.
Millikin was not Switalski's only coaching stop, as he spent time at Legacy SC (2011-14) in New Lenox, Ill., and a stint at his alma mater, Lincoln-Way East from 2009-11.
Switalski graduated from Lewis in 2010 with a degree in sport management and a business administration minor.
