Mona Groteguth was named the Graduate Assistant for the Lewis University men's and women's swim teams in August 2015.
Groteguth swam the backstroke for a NCAA Division I program at University of North Texas from 2011-2014. She was the team captain her senior year. Along with being a CSCAA Honorable Mention Scholar All-American, Groteguth graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
Groteguth was a Sun Belt All Conference First Team member. She was also named Most Valuable Swimmer at North Texas for the 2014-15 season.
Groteguth was a volunteer assistant swimming coach during the summer of 2014 in Oldensburg, Germany. She oversaw 40 swimmers from the ages of 13 to 24.
