Mimi Ramirez enters her first season as an assistant coach for the Lewis University softball team.
A four-year starter for UW-Whitewater (2010-14), Ramirez played outfield for a Warhawks team that finished third overall in the 2014 NCAA Division III National Tournament.
Ramirez was a First Team Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) selection and National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Regional Second Team winner in 2014. In 2013, Ramirez was named both to the Honorable Mention WIAC squad while taking home NFCA Great Lakes All-Region Third Team accolades.
She was equally adept in the classroom, as she is a four-time NFCA Scholar Athlete and WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll recipient, while also being named a UW-Whitewater Chancellor Scholar-Athlete.
