2017 Highlights: Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award – given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence...recipient of the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award...named to D2CCA and NFCA All-Midwest Region Second Teams...selected to All-GLVC First Team...topped the Flyers in eight different offensive categories including batting average (.407), runs (42), hits (70), doubles (16), triples (3), total bases (107), slugging percentage (.622) and on-base percentage (.466)...had a team-best 25 multiple-hit games, including three games with three hits...had five multiple RBI contests, including a 3-for-3, five RBI performance with two doubles and a triple in a 13-4 win over Ferris State (March 6)...went 2-for-2, including a two-run homer, in the 5-2 win over Walsh (March 10)...went 5-for-8 with three runs scored and two doubles in doubleheader sweep over Maryville (March 25)...picked up a pair of hits, three RBI and scored a run in the 10-4 win over UW-Parkside (April 4).
2016 Highlights: Started in all 50 games...led team in triples (5), stolen bases (4) and RBI (34)...had 19 multiple hit games and nine multiple RBI contests...went 3-for-4 with a run and a RBI in the 7-2 win over William Jewell (April 17)...was 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs, including a pair of RBI doubles in the 13-4 (5 inn.) victory over UW-Parkside (April 13)...belted a grand slam and finished with two hits, two runs and five RBI in a 7-6 loss to Southern Indiana (April 9)...went 3-for-7 with two home runs and four RBI in a doubleheader against McKendree (April 3)...rapped a two-run double in a 13-3 loss to UIS (April 2)...went 6-for-8 with three runs scored and two RBI in the doubleheader sweep over Saint Joseph's (March 26)...was 3-for-4 with a RBI and a run in the 6-5 win over Maryville (March 11)...went 3-for-4 scored the winning run on a wild pitch in the 2-1 (8 inn.) win over Northwood (March 5)...drove in two runs in the 13-5 (6 inn.) win over Lake Erie (March 4)...delivered a key two-run double in the 11-7 come-from-behind win over Notre Dame College (March 3)...had two hits, two runs and two RBI in the 8-7 win over Lindenwood (Feb. 28)...went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI triples to finish with three RBI and scored a run in the 10-0 (5 inn.) win over Upper Iowa (Feb. 26)...recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence - and named to Academic All-GLVC Team...appeared in 31 games with 29 starts…averaged .290 for the season with 29 hits and 15 RBI…knocked in two runs with her first collegiate homerun against McKendree (Apr. 3)…went four-for-four with a RBI in the victory over Illinois Springfield (May 1)…brought in two runs with a single to center field against William Jewel (Apr. 20).
Prep/Personal: Batted .525 as a sophomore and .487 as a freshman, helping Marist to a pair of conference championships...four year member of the Dean's List...played for the Illinois Outlaws during the summer...daughter of Dave and Liz Prieto...major is nursing.
