Michael Fahey

Michael Fahey was hired as an assistant coach for the Lewis women’s basketball program in August 2015.

Fahey serves as Lewis’ recruiting coordinator. He is responsible for scouting opponents and post player development. Fahey also organizes the team’s social media efforts.

Fahey comes to Romeoville with experience at the NCAA Division I and professional levels. He worked under legendary coaches Doug Bruno and Pat Summitt.

From 2013 to 2015 Fahey served as the video coordinator at DePaul. He managed all video including breakdown of DePaul opponents and individual edits for one-on-one sessions. He helped in all scouting preparation including film exchange, personnel breakdown, scouting reports and opponent video. He also assisted with on campus visits. Fahey created and organized the team Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Vine and YouTube accounts as well as all recruiting mailings. He helped the Blue Demons to 2014 & 2015 BIG EAST Regular Season and Tournament Championships as well as a 2014 NCAA Sweet Sixteen Appearance.

Fahey came to DePaul after serving as the video coordinator for the University of Tennessee women's basketball program from October 2011 to July 2013. He managed the Lady Vols’ tape exchange and breakdown of practice and game footage. He also analyzed opponents’ film. Fahey helped the Lady Vols to the 2012 Southeastern Conference Tournament Championship. Tennessee was also crowned the SEC regular season champions in 2013 and reached the NCAA Elite Eight during his two seasons.

Prior to heading to Knoxville, Fahey served as the video coordinator for the WNBA's Chicago Sky in 2011. With the Sky, his duties included breaking down all games, film exchange and playing on the scout team in practice. Before his work with the Sky, Fahey was a video intern for the Chicago Bulls during the 2010-2011 NBA season.

Fahey played basketball and graduated from Benedictine University in 2010 with a degree in Business Administration.
