Kevin Meek

Kevin Meek is in his second season as a member of the women's soccer coaching staff at Lewis and first as an assistant coach. Meek spent the 2019-20 serving as the goalkeeping coach.

Prior to arriving at Lewis, Meek worked directly with the United States Soccer Federation’s Development Academy and was a Talent ID Scout for the U.S. Women’s Youth National Teams. He earned his USSF A license in 2018, and brings a wealth of coaching experience at the college and club levels. He was the head women’s soccer coach for NCAA Division I Chicago State, he led the NCAA Division II Assumption Greyhounds to the NCAA tournament and a conference championship, and led the NCAA Division III Elms College Blazers to its first every NCAA tournament.

Meek’s main responsibility for Lewis will be to train goalkeepers, analyze game film and help set up game plans and functional training sessions to prepare for upcoming opponents, and digital training opportunities.

A former midfielder at Butler University, Meek also holds a USSF B license and Advanced Goalkeeper and Premier Diplomas from the United Soccer Coaches Association. He earned a bachelor's degree in English from Butler University and a master's degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and he has taught at the collegiate level (including at Lewis University) for fifteen years.
 
Meek and his wife Amy, a sales representative for Rebel Athletic and former Butler University ballerina, have two sons, Grayson and Finnegan.
